If you haven't noticed yet, the 2009 Caravan is getting geared up. There is a web site and a list-server for the Caravan already set up.

Many Captains have already been selected.

Check out http://www.nationalc...ttecaravan.com/. There is a link there to sign up for the Caravan-Chat list-server, if you're interested.

I'll keep you posted with information and news as it happens.

Oklahoma Captain

Sounds cool. Ithink the wife and I will plan on attending. The kids will be older then and can go stay with Grandma and Grandpa.

We had our first Captain's meeting at the Birthday Bash at the NCM. Things are rolling now. As a new Captain, I feel like some of it is rolling over me but I'll get it figured out.

If things work out right and the price of premium gas doesn't go through the roof, the 2009 Caravan ought to be the biggest yet.

Being the Oklahoma Captain, I have Southern California's caravan and the Arizona and New Mexico caravan rolling through my area. By the time SoCal gets to Oklahoma City and the local Vettes join in, I'll probably be leading 400-500 Vettes out of town. It ought to be one helluva a sight. And, this will be happening all over the US the week prior to Labor Day 2009.
