I changed out the hoodliner and put the GS hoodliner in the car. Well there is a hole cutout for the engine light, so I brought the light, came with how to install it but could not figure out where it connects to the wiring harness, please help.

Sorry, David, but I can't help. I don't have a hood light on my 2010 GS so can't trace that back for you. Easiest thing to do might be to stop by your local Chevy dealer and ask them. Or post the question on the GSR email list. Perhaps someone there has the answer.
