Yeh, with so many Grand Sports in the sunshine state of Florida, we ought to be able to hold our own event!Count me in. How about sometime in June?? Hutch? Chris? Dan? Bueller? Bueller?
Actually, I did that a few years ago at Roger's Corvette Center in Orlando. We called it "Skunkfest" and while it was originally intended for Grand Sports, ZR-1s, and Callaways, we finally opened it up to all. That event has evolved into the Roger's Cruz'In event which we hold on the last Saturday in October (the 29th this year). Its a great, laid back show with lots of prizes, awards, and entertainment. You should plan to attend, if you can make it. As you might imagine... the GSR sponsors the late C4 class of awards.
So how about a *real* SKUNKFEST sometime? We could certainly organize one somewhere around Central Florida. Heck, just a drive out to some nice spot for lunch or dinner and an impromptu car show would be cool.
I'm in for it. The hard part is just finding a free weekend to do it!
