Thanks for the input, Robert.

Lets hear from the rest of you. If you were designing the ideal Grand Sport leather jacket, what would you come up with? Doesn't have to be any of the above ideas. Let us know what would float YOUR boat!

I think the blue leather would be very classy and I agree not to make the jacket too cluttered with insignias.

I personally like the 1st, on top, front view, with the GS emblem on the left breast and for the rear view, the 4th one down, with the C4 logo and GS emblem.
The red hashmarks you added on the left sleeve is a nice touch.

 Just haven't found the right leather corvette coat yet. This WILL be it.

my input
:D Blue leather
B) Red hashmarks
:D GS fender emblem front
:D Wide white stripe on back
centered as is real stripe
:D corvette lettering as on rear
bumper on white stripe
:D red or black lining

Just opinion but offset racing stripes looks old not GS

not cluttered is good

I'm in for the car on left front, a vert preferably, and the C4 logo with GS emblem on the back. Hash marks on the left sleeve are a must.

Here is my input.

I like the centered white stripe, it matches the car, wider center stripe.

I prefer the hash marks on the left forearm rather than the upper arm, it reminds me of a navy uniform when it is high on the sleeve.

Grand Sport emblem on the left breast.

Car number embroidered below the GS emblem.

1st choice for the back is the C4 emblem, 2nd choice is a GS Vert.

Red or Black Lining as you choose.

Of course, this is all on blue leather.

When we set up the poll, maybe vote on a front design and then the back design separately. If the winners overlap, make an adjustment to remove one of the duplicate items.

Thanks for the input, everybody. We are getting some great ideas here and a diverse set of opinions of what would be best. We won't be able to satisfy everyone's wishes, of course, but we'll try to come up with a good compromise.

Let me get a few more ideas and suggestions, and then I'll PhotoShop up your suggestions and we'll set up two polls (good idea, Shawn)... one for the front and one for the back.

I don't know if my supplier will be able to do the personallization (optional VIN #) or not but will find out when the time comes.

My thoughts are: I like the front picture #1 the best. The offset stripe looks very cool.

Regarding the back: (boy I hope I don't get flamed for this!) I really like the "Corvette" in cursive - but when the Grand Sport rectangular logo is below it, these two seem to be fighting each other a little (different looks completely.) How about all 3 words in cursive? Like "Corvette" on the first line, and "Grand Sport" on the second line? (I know, I know, the front of the coat has the rectangular logo.)

There's my two cents!

No flames here, Craig. All suggestions and comments are appreciated. I have a sweatshirt wth Corvette Grand Sport in cursive letters and it looks pretty good.

Anyone else have some suggestions for the IDEAL Grand Sport leather jacket???

Sorry for the delay guys, believe me, it hasn't been easy dealing with two separate vendors on this.

But I know how anal GS owners can be (hey, I'm one too, ya know?) so I have to make sure these are perfect and a good value before offering them to the GSR. Don't worry, I think you're going to be happy.

I should post something here and in the GSR Store in the next couple of days.
