Our new Grand Sport Registry NCM Brick!
Our members have spoken and the overwhelming majority chose the brick design shown above. We've changed the font of the "Grand Sport" lettering to look more like the GS hood emblem.
Thanks to the generosity of our GSR Membership, we managed to collect enough funds to order our $2500 24"x24" brick from the National Corvette Museum. The GSR contributed $500 and all the rest came from our membership. The NCM is a 501(c)3 organization so don't forget your donations come tax time next year!
As promised, the names and donation amounts of those members who contributed will remain confidential. However I do feel I should make special mention of my dear friend and Lifetime GSR Member Brad Stephenson (GS #951) of Akron, Ohio, who personally contributed $500 to our brick fund.

Our big GSR organizational brick was placed in the courtyard of the entryway of the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY, during a special ceremony during The Gathering event in May 2005. Our Brick Unveiling Ceremony was held on Friday, May 13th, 2005, at 10:30 am. It was a very special occasion for us all!
Note that I said the "courtyard" not "sidewalk" area in front of the Museum. We managed to arrange a special brick area reserved just for the GSR members in the space just below the large picture window (where the revolving car display is). If you've been to the NCM before, it is near the outside soda machines. There was only room for these two special bricks plus space for about 30 small individual GSR Member bricks.

We only had space for 30 of these 4" x 8" custom National Corvette Museum GSR member bricks. Offered on a first-come, first-serve basis, the response by the GSR Lifetime Membership was phenomenal, selling out that limited space in only 4 days.
However, we have coordinated with the NCM staff to ensure these custom Grand Sport bricks may still be ordered for placement elsewhere in the sidewalk surrounding the NCM. You may order these or regular bricks directly from the NCM website.
